This week, Group A have been reading all about the trickster Maui and how he slowed the sun. They then retold the story in eight points and made those points into a play. They practiced and practiced their play until it was perfect. Then they performed it for the class and for you! We hope you enjoy watching.

Cool! This is such a wonderful retelling! I loved the actor playing the Sun, it was such a good idea having her run up and down! Great! Yendarra School from Auckland are also doing retells of New Zealand Myths so maybe you should find their sites and compare approaches but this is a really nice piece of written language, and were going to view this in class my students will love it, thank you.
